What is Bitcoin Cash?
Bitcoin Cash (traded as BCH or BCC) is a fork of bitcoin from Aug 1st 2017 that emerged with the vision of providing a solution to scaling issues mainly by raising the block size capacity. The altcoin that came out of the intentional fork after block 478558 with its chain splitting from bitcoin, using a different ruleset for validating blocks in the Bitcoin Cash network. BCH has a block size limit of 8MB and plans to increase that limit are underway. Additional new features include a new SigHash type and a different difficulty adjustment algorithm.
