What is EOS?
EOS (EOS) is the token distributed after the Ethereum ICO held for the EOS.IO Software project. Daniel Larimer, Creator of BitShares and co-founder of Steemit serves as the project's CTO. EOS.IO Software is supporting the creation of a platform for a scalable blockchain applications. It aims at being scalable to support millions of users, with free transactions and low latency. The project looks to achieve such by introducing a unique consensus algorithm named "Delegated Proof of Stake".
